The Concert Platform (locally known as the Rusty Laptop) designed by Architect Ian Ritchie it will be open for people to come and explore - walk through the amazing back of house areas, marvel at the interior and then follow in the footsteps of musical legends by taking to the stage. Not usually open to the public this is a chance for people to walk through the back of house areas and step out on to the stage. Set in the English Landscape of Paxton's Crystal Palace Park the views are the same as would have been enjoyed by Music legends such as Bob Marley, Dame Vera Lynn, Elton John and Rick Wakeman.
There will be a team from the Crystal Palace Park Trust on hand to answer any questions, and a small exhibition about the history and design of the structure on display.
Please keep your eyes peeled as an additional very special tour will be added in on the same date at a different time. This will be ticketed (but still free) so numbers are limited.
