What is it that brings people together? What’s the reason that people found a company, work their way up through a studio, or move on to practices new? What brings colleagues together around a collective identity? What shapes big multidisciplinary project teams? And once assembled, what’s the glue that continues to bind them together? Is there a special substance that makes leadership teams really effective, invites cultural allegiance from colleagues, or makes for a winning creative collaboration? Is there a secret that makes some groups stronger during the tough times while others fall apart?
Perhaps glue is about similarities in approach, shared ideologies, complementary skill sets or geographical coverage. Maybe it’s about loyalty, friendship or love. Or maybe the glue is down to convenience, inertia, finance or fluke.
Please join us – writer Emma Keyte and leadership coaches Rachel Birchmore and Louise Rodgers – and our special guests as we search for the glue that keeps us in common.
