This exhibition will evidence examples of project work (2D drawings and 3D models) undertaken by Year 2 BA Interior Architecture, INterior Design and Architecture Technology students from nearby Middlesex University. The thread that runs through these projects is the architectural concept of adaptive re-use, a theme that all inhabitants of London share in common, as we witness the constantly evolving fabric of London, a restless architectural landscape, building and rebuilding, in response to societal changes and needs.
All the speculative projects are located close to the exhibition site,1: the disused Finchley Road access tunnel to the Golders Green Underground station and 2: future imaginings of Childs Hill Library 2033.
.
The exhibition will be hosted by Golders Green Library and will be open from the 14th to the 18th of June following the Library opening times.
