‘If These Walls Could Talk’ (Historic Guided Walk)

Join us as we explore and celebrate the unique character of a part of London familiar to many, but truly known by few.

Led by local historian Paul Baker, who has curated this tour exclusively for us, participants discover how the architecture of our town centre can offer an insight into the cultural and historic significance of Golders Green.

Supported by a library of rarely seen digital resources, this immersive experience reveals how picturesque residential avenues, high street parades of Grade II listed buildings and famously wide variety of religious sites demonstrate that diversity, multiculturalism, and social mobility are in fact, not modern ideas at all.

If indeed these walls could talk, they would show us how urban structures and spaces are inseparable from the communities and individuals they were built to serve – well now they can!
