In Conversation: Interwar Suburbia

07 June 2023

11:00 -12:30

Come along to the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture for an “In Conversation” with Head of Collections, Zoe Hendon, as part of the London Festival of Architecture.

In this session we’ll explore some of the museum’s posters, pamphlets and booklets relating to the expansion of the North London suburbs in the 1920s and 30s.

You’ll have the chance to see and handle museum material and consider how suburban housing was planned and imagined.
