International House is a council asset which has been leveraged over the last 5 years as a ‘space for public good’. The operators, 3Space, have run a formula which sees community organisations subsidised by commercial occupants to mutual benefit. The 11-storey creative hub has become an engine of community spirit, creativity and social innovation. This panel discussion will unpack the nature of benefits created and the lessons which can be learned for city makers everywhere.
The panel includes:
Co-chairs: Chris Paddock from PRD and Binki Taylor from Brixton Project
Matthew Blades, Assistant Director Economy and Inward Investment, London Borough of Lambeth
Harry Owen-Jones, Co-Founder and COO, 3Space
Anna Jones, Co-Founder and CEO, RefuAid
Dee Halligan, Founding Director, Forth
