Too many people walk around their communities staring at their phones and fail to notice the rich architectural heritage around them. In this guided walk, participants will have their eyes opened to the Victorian history of the district and how it is linked to the Crystal Palace Exhibition. They will also see how the uses of the buildings have changed during the past two centuries as well as considering what we have in common with our forebears. The interactive session will also invite comments on the appropriateness of the infill development of recent decades.
