(Mapping) The Barbican Estate with David Rosenberg for C20: Uncommon Antisocial Housing Walking Tour

17 June 2023

11:00 -13:00

As part of Velorose’s ‘Commoners in Common’ exhibition, which encourages visitors to map spaces that are both shared and personal, David Rosenberg will be leading an idiosyncratic tour of the Barbican Estate for the Twentieth Century Society, entitled ‘Uncommon Antisocial Housing’. Expect the unexpected, including a Barbican tower flat viewing, and creating your own map of the Barbican Estate

David Rosenberg (architect, urban designer, communicator and gallerist) is a seasoned tour guide of the Barbican and Golden Lane Estates (both designed by Chamberlin, Powell and Bon), having led tours of both places for the Twentieth Century Society, The Getty Foundation, MSc and PhD students of UCL among others

Book and pay ahead via C20. 5 subsidised spaces are available; please contact C20 by email (coordinator@c20society.org.uk)

David will be conducting a complementary tour of the Golden Lane Estate on Saturday 24 June
