On The Beat With Holborn’s Heroes

This guided walk has been designed to incorporate the theme “In Common”, by celebrating some of Holborn’s iconic buildings and ways of life. This will be a one mile walk taking 90 minutes, along a flat route.
The walk will explore the history of the Holborn area. We will come across the characters and heroes, the ancient and the contemporary, who were responsible for its creation and development. I will sprinkle in some stories from my experiences from when I was a Bobby on the Beat in this area fifty years ago. Together, we will discover what was in common with the past and the present, and what we have learnt along the way.
