Livesey Exchange (LEX) is the result of a team effort and long-term collaboration between community enabler Nicholas Okwulu (Pempeople), architect Ulrike Steven (what if: projects), Southwark Council, the GLA and many residents, local businesses and organisations who supported the project since its inception in 2016 at the Ledbury Estate garages. The first phase of the new building is now complete, including a ground-floor event space and first-floor work rooms.
If you live or work in the Old Kent Road neighbourhood, if you are interested in building with CLT and towards carbon zero, or if you want to hear about the process of setting up and delivering a communal project, join us for a tour of the new building
