Reaching out to a common ground

13 June - 22 June

SimpsonHaugh celebrates and joins this year’s LFA with a playful installation at our Clerkenwell Studio. The curious gaze of passers-by will find a fan of colourful strings reaching out from our windows to the ground, serving as a reminder that we all can look for connections beyond our desks and computers and reach out to re-discover a common ground with our neighbours. One fan of strings shoots up to the sky, turning around the corner to guide people towards the new pocket park being explored at Clerkenwell Close: an emerging intervention by CDA and Islington that demonstrates how our urban environment can evolve and unlock its full potential by bringing people together.
