Come see a display of some of the work from our past gallery show 'Future Cities', an exhibiton made by local schools that explored te possibilites of a future city that is 'good for people and good for the planet'. The development workshops and exhibition examined how young people imagine a city that serves what we ALL need and have in common and the ways we can adapt to better serve those with specfic needs!
artsdepot commissioned LAStheatre and visual artists Ed Compson and Arieh Frosh to work with six schools across Barnet to take part in creative workshops to imagine what a future city might look like, looking at solutions and innovations and designing prototype structures from recycled materials that express their ideas. The project culminated in an exhibition at artsdepot's Apthrop Gallery representing the ideas and work generated by the young people.
