As part of our celebration of London Festival of Architecture Better Bankside has teamed up with JA Projects to bring you Roots, Shoots and Fruits an event exploring Bankside’s Urban Forest and Lowline.
The Bankside Urban Forest is a long-term project to create a new type of greening initiative in central London. The Lowline is an ambitious project that aims to transform the railway viaducts in Southwark into a vibrant, green space for the local community. Both projects are part of a wider effort to create a more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive city.
At this event, you will have the opportunity to hear from various designers and experts on the projects’ evolution, including the challenges they have faced, the progress made so far, and the vision for the future. You will also be able to ask questions and participate in discussions with other attendees.
The event will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about Bankside’s Urban Forest and Lowline and to meet like-minded people who are passionate about creating a better environment for all. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a fascinating and inspiring evening.
We look forward to seeing you there!
