Summer Exhibition Architecture Afternoon

Celebrate the Summer Exhibition Architecture Room at this afternoon of conversations with some of the featured artists and architects, with Peter Barber RA.

Discover some of the stories behind the works in the Summer Exhibition Architecture Room, hear from Architecture Room curator Peter Barber, who will be in conversation by Grant Gibson, then join us for a drinks reception in the Main Galleries.

The theme of this year’s Architecture Room, chosen by Peter Barber, is “making is thinking”. Throughout the afternoon, you’ll hear from architects, both established and emerging, as they discuss trial and error in creative practice and the importance of the handmade in architecture.
In between the presentations there will be opportunities to join in the discussion.
