A liveable city is a city where there are policies in place to help further equality and make people feel included no matter their background, and where the focus is on what we all have in common. City planners, architects and developers can help that happen by putting people first, so liveable places can blossom.
Because of the long Danish tradition for equality, solution-based pragmatism, and people-friendly city planning, the Royal Danish Embassy is now hosting The Liveable City, a conference that is held for the sixth time in connection with London Festival of Architecture and is presenting two seminars: One on Masterplanning and the Circular Economy and one on Green and affordable mobility. The day ends with a reception at the embassy.
The Liveable City is a conference that lets British and Danish experts as well as the public take part in discussions about how to create cities that works for all. It will present speakers that are representing key Danish and British architectural practices, engineering firms, developers, councils and municipalities, manufacturers and academic institutions.
