If you missed our Festival Event Workshop last year, don’t worry – we’re running the workshop for a second session this month and if you’re thinking of or planning to run an event for the 2020 London Festival of Architecture, it’s a great opportunity to find out everything you need to know to make it a success!
Whether you’re part of an organisation or organising an event as an individual, whatever your reason for joining us at LFA2020, this workshop is designed to help you gain helpful tips and skills on what makes a successful Festival event. From questions about venues to queries on writing an appealing event description, we’re here to help you make your event the best it can be, and will be discussing different formats of events, how to address the festival theme, and will analyse what events will attract the most attention.
The workshop will be led by Rosa Rogina, the Festival’s Head of Programme and André Holmqvist, LFA Programme Manager, who help to ensure the quality and diversity of all events as part of the LFA programme each year. Working closely with our curation panel, they know exactly what events work and which are likely to get overlooked.
The event is kindly hosted by LFA Patrons, KPF, at their amazing offices in Convent Garden. The event is free to attend but spaces are limited – to find out more and secure your place, sign up here.
This event takes place on Wednesday 22 January, starting promptly at 9am with coffee and networking from 8:30am.
